On April 21st, the Upper Saddle River Educational Foundation (USREF) held its 9th annual “Town Night Out” gala sponsored by the Ramsey Auto Group. The evening billed as the “Ultimate House Party” was held at Greenbaum Interiors in Paterson. Over 200 guests walked through the red carpet entrance and photo shoot to enjoy signature welcome drinks and the many rooms of the party such as the Cigar Lounge and the Martini Room. The ballroom held a lavish buffet catered by the Brownstone as well as a live auction. Both live and silent auctions raised more than $80,000 for the district. Upper Saddle River Mayor Joanne Minichetti was honored with this year’s “Award for Excellence” for her 20+ year commitment to the community.
The monies allow the USREF to provide educational based grants which would otherwise not be possible due to lack of school funding. With the grant money, faculty can proceed with innovative and creative programs to benefit students in the Upper Saddle River school district.

The Passaic County Community College Foundation was established in 1976 to provide student scholarship support to PCCC students who, without the assistance of scholarship funds, would not be able to attend college. Our philosophy is to open the door to opportunity for these deserving students, many of whom overcome both financial and personal challenges to pursue their dream of a college education.
Since its beginnings, the PCCC Foundation has enabled students to earn a college degree and continue on to fulfilling careers. Our distinguished donors have increased in number to more than 50 companies, organizations, and individuals who are dedicated to supporting education and helping others realize their potential.
